My husband and I started traveling to Italy in 2000.18 years ago and thousands of memories.We have traveled alone and with other friends. They both have there pro’s and con’s. But not once has Italy disappointed us. People often ask why we don’t travel to somewhere else, we gave our heart away on that first trip and can’t imagine going any where else.I dream now of visiting Italy in 2018, it may not happen but at least I can dream about it.
You sound just like me! My first trip to Italy was in 2002 and I came back feeling like I’d just discovered the most exciting thing in my life. I went back by myself 4 months later and just breathed in the medieval ambiance of Assisi. I’ve found a way to return year after year, sometimes twice. People are always asking me why I don’t visit other countires. The simple answer is…I can’t get away from Italy. I hope you get back this year….I’m pulling for you:)
